Friedrichs Filtersysteme

**Friedrichs Filtersysteme GmbH** is a family-owned company founded in Cologne in 1975 by Dipl.-Ing. Dieter Friedrichs and soon moved to its headquarters in Wassenberg (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). The founding idea was based on the patented self-cleaning **optimesh®** wire mesh technology. With the subsequent development of the **optigap®** and **precislot®** systems, it also offered innovative filter solutions for the chemical industry. From the 1980s onwards, product groups such as **fluidtech® duplex filter series**, **deltaP® differential pressure gauges**, oil mist collection systems for turbochargers and expander machines were added to the portfolio. These products are applied in mining, energy, marine, chemical and general industry. The company combines nearly 50 years of experience with customized consulting, design and system integration services. As of September 2022, Friedrichs Filtersysteme becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of the Italian **UFI Filters Hydraulics**. The merger expands the product portfolio and provides access to the UFI Group's global sales and technology platform. The goal is to reach a turnover of 15 million euros by 2025 with around 50 employees.
